Women’s magazines are full of weight loss ideas but most of them are obviously unsuccessful as people are steadily getting fatter everywhere in the western world.
I have a report that the average weight of American citizens has increased by nearly 20 pounds during the last 25 years and I don't think that is because we have all grown 2 inches taller.
We have been blaming our fat intake for this result. We now constantly see “Fat free or fat reduced” everywhere we look.
Well that hasn’t worked has it?
The truth is we have been blaming the WRONG thing.
Number one, REDUCE YOUR SUGAR INTAKE.
Number two, REDUCE YOUR CARBOHYDRATE INTAKE.
Why do we need to do this? What’s the relationship here?
When we eat carbohydrates our body has to convert them into sugar before our body can use them.
However, the average sugar consumption itself is around 170 pounds per year (about 75 kilo’s). But unfortunately we now have an even worse culprit, FRUCTOSE.
This product is now being used extensively in our food chain and is much cheaper to produce. It is in fact even sweeter than our normal sugar. This is also becoming a bad news story as more investigations into fructose and its results are now becoming available to us.
Sugar alone is having a bad effect on our longevity. Add to this the amount of carbohydrates we eat and this is definitely not going to help our longevity either.
