Taking an interest in antiaging food is now starting to attract more attention particularly as we get older and start thinking of our longevity.
Unfortunately the quality of food we have become used to is sadly deficient in nutrition and is dominated by carbohydrates particularly sweet things.
We start putting on weight and its hard to lose it.
Sure, it has been made quite attractive and is loaded with things that appeal to our taste buds like cakes and sweet things. For instance, Chocolates and ice cream.
Children now want things like coke on a daily basis all of which are loaded with sugar.
Did you know the average sugar consumption is over 160 + pounds per year? That’s over 60 kilos per person per year and it’s having disastrous effects on our health.
Diabetes is reaching plague proportions and is getting worse at a fast rate.
If you are really interested in antiaging food the first thing you need to do is try and cut down on your sugar consumption.
This won’t be easy for you to do as believe it or not we have become addicted to sugar.
You probably don’t believe me do you?-- When I was young (that’s a long time ago as I am over 90 now) sugar consumption was quite limited and so was diabetes.
If you want to know more about this
I intend to enjoy my 91st birthday shortly on a week’s fishing trip to our north west coast and I still enjoy the pleasures of life with very minimal limitations.
